I have been invited to go on a management deer hunt in Mississippi, all paid .. Including license and all. The only thing is im waiting to recieve more info on this place. All I know so far is its around Vaiden,MS. Any of you guys familiar with this area and can shed some light on who this may be with? Thanks in advance.

I hunted there last year right around new years. The property was over hunted but they did take some good bucks early in the season. I think they have good bucks and good numbers there. Good luck.

hunted in Vaiden last year... Nothing in Vaiden but a truck stop and a titty bar.

Saw plenty of deer and took a couple does off the place. Good buck sign as well.

If you hunt some of the farm fields with creeks, the creeks occasionally flood in the winter and it's mallard heaven. Literally thousands of mallards pile to the flooded fields. But once the water recedes in the creeks, no more birds.

If it was all paid and all I had to do was show up, it wouldn't matter too much to me. Any time I get to spend in the woods is a good time.

I am in a camp 20 miles from Vaiden and the hunting is good, I dont know of any outfitters around there. the best hunting is the week after christmas they are chasing like crazy during that time.

Oh yes and there is a nast little strip club in Vaiden as well if you need something to past the time while you are there.

I think the trip is either next weekend or the weekend after, still waiting on the details. The temp is suppose to drop so that might help..

yes the weather is supposed to be great for the first weekend in December. Are you aware that both of those weekends are primitive weapon hunting only? I have seen a lot of young bucks start cruising around that time and the does are already off away from the hardwoods and on the food plots.
