Should I go with the hot hand in Laurent Robinson, or play Mathews who has been hurt and underperforming?
Mathews vs. Bears
Robinson vs. Redskins

I usually tend to give the RB the nod, but in this case? Probably a wash. I could see either guy ending with 10-12. Slight edge to Robinson I guess.

Robinson will do good this week. Romo seems to really like him. Tolbert is the man for goalline touches.

From what I hear, Mathews is healthy and shouldn't be as limited this week.

With that being said, I think Robinson still has more upside given that he has the hot hand.

However, how confident are you about your matchup? Its rare that I let that be a factor but... If it doesn't look like you are the favorite and you're worried, I would take the gamble and go with Robinson. But if it looks like you just need your players to play fairly consistent to get a W, then I would play the safer bet for consistent points (a lead RB)

I am not concerned about who I am playing. The guy has not changed his team all year except for a very early trade. His current lineup is:

Romo
Jamal Charles (IR)
Jonathan Stewart
Empty
Manningham
Empty
Zach Miller
Saints D (BYE)
Gostkowski

This is a win for me, but I just wanted to get other opinions about Mathews and Robinson. I think I am going to go with Robinson because he is hot recently and Romo seems to like him. And Mathews is coming off an injury and still shares touches with Tolbert

Something to consider. Robinson had a nice game last week but only had 3 targets. He made the msot of them but more often than not 3 targets will amount to 2 or 3 catches for 25-40 yards. It's hard to get too excited about him until I see more consistant involvement.
