Will be in Maui for the Arkansas game. Anybody know where to watch the game, preferably in Kaanapali or Lahaina? Since it's nationally televised, I'm sure I can find it, but I'm hoping someone has personal experience. Thanks.

Since there is a 5 hour time difference b/t Baton Rouge and Maui.....

the game comes on in HI at 8:30 AM - the morning after Thanksgiving.

Not sure any bars would be open or give a crap about it...

Best bet ---- have an early breakfast and watch in your room... then head out for some Maui activities in the afternoon ... it'll be over by 12 noon in Maui.

Just sayin' ---- I watched LSU vs. Bama last season from my room... as the clock ticked to 0:00 I put on my golf shoes and hauled butt over to a golf course for a 1 PM (HI local time) tee time... it was great.

my wife and i loved lulu's in maui, we ate there several times while we visited maui. i hate everything about Honolulu, that whole island was garbage. reminded me of a typical US city not a tropical paradise.

There is a bar called Captain Jack's in Lahaina that has a big upstairs patio with several big TVs. I was there about 4 weeks ago and they had mucho college football on. Its right on Front STreet.

There's a sports bar in Kihei just south of the strip mall with Denny's in it(next door to a mexican restaurant.) They always have had LSU on when I've been there, including baseball.

it will be really early in the morning about 8:30 or so HAWaii time for the ark game.

I was there for the Kentucky game and it started at 6am. Awesome rolling out o fbed watching the tigers while drinking your coffee on the lanai then rolling out to the golf course when the game is over.

Last time I was in Maui the bars did open very early in the morning for college and NFL football. Watched LSU at the pool bar and caught the Saints game at a sports bar the next day (pretty sure I had to drive to Lahaina). If I remember the name I will post it, but dont expect too much out of the bars. They could drop the term "sports" from most bars in Maui.

Thanks for all the input, guys. Some great choices. It'll be early (9:30 kickoff since they don't do the whole daylight savings thing), but like most of the folks here I presume, I don't have an issue with being drunk in the morning! Thanks again.

Man, I hate you. I hope it rains the entire time you're there. (j/k)

Try the two story pizza joint on Front St. Go upstairs. Cant remember name though.
