Arkansas newspaper article from this morning...
"The second BCS bowl will go to the winner of the LSU-Arkansas game, if both teams don't lose this week. Of course, nothing is set in stone. But one thing is certain, in Bobby Petrino's fourth season, the Arkansas Razorbacks have become an elite program."

Glad to know that LSU became nationally considered an elite program back in 01.

Maybe Elite is a strong word to use.... but they have done well the last couple of seasons. They are ranked 6th right now and I am sure they finished last season in the top 5, or just outside of it. And.... they are doing it this season with out Mallet. That being said, I dont think they will be able to keep up with the Tigers... this season or the next couple, not with the Def. we will have for the next couple years.

I would think one would need to win a bowl or championship before it could be considered an "elite" program.
