But Thomas is haunted by the team that did. In the loss to LSU, the first game of his collegiate career, he lost two fumbles.

“I feel like we’re better than LSU,” Thomas said.
Thomas is so confident in that belief that he still thinks Oregon will win the national championship this season.

“We always make runs at it,” Huff said. “We just look for teams to slip up, and if we keep doing what we do, who knows where we’ll be at the end of the season?”

Not that Huff had forgotten about LSU, either. He and his teammates just think the rest of college football has forgotten about Oregon.

Prediction: By the time this season is over, LSU will go down in history as the most repeatedly disrespected national champion ever. We physically abouse these guys to start the season, and they think they're all that now that they beat Stanford. Like Va Tech in 2007, they have no chance of playing us again.

Oregano would be 8-2 in the SEC. At best.

Without a doubt

All the bama rematch talk is disrespectful to what LSU did by beating them. And had LSU lost the media would have declared them out of it.

let us not forget that if it wasn't for a last minute touchdown the Oregon Ducks would have been beaten by 20... which would've doubled their score (for all those who live under a rock)

Tell me another joke Oregon

Before the season started, the Oregon game worried me a lot. Always felt we would win, but was still nervous as a whore in church because I knew Oregon was a dangerous team.

With that said, I think LSU wins even more convincingly if the teams played again. LSU has improved waay more than Oregon has. 1 win over an over-rated Stanford team is no cause for concern.

I hope it does end up being LSU and oregon for the BCSNG. LSU by 23

This is so sad but 100% true. We beat Oregon and Bama yet they say they can still beat us? I don't know if that or the fact that the media buys it is more depressing

Their defense wants NONE OF THIS offense with JLee at QB. I assure you of that.

100% false. LSU is old news right now. The people want to hear about the crazy scenarios not how good a team we are. They already know that.

You haven't played OSU yet. I wouldn't purchase those rings just yet. They seem to be peaking at the right time.

Oregon did look good against Stanford, but Stanford is not nearly the quality of team that people thought they were.

Besides, the comment came from the cocky little shite DeAnthony Thomas ( the Black Mamba ). I mean, come on, do you really expect honesty, respectfulness, and humbleness from a guy that Snoop Dogg named the Black Mamba?

Didn't he have another fumble or two last night. Seems to me he oughta shut his mouth and worry about not hurting his team by dropping the ball. If they play LSU again, I'd bet on another fumble from his skinny arse.

Anyway, while I would not like to play Bama again, I would have no qualms about playing Oregon again......prolly cuz we would whip that arse. I love the whiny Oregon posters, tho......"Yeah, but we scored the most on LSU of anyone.....27 points"....they just love that extra garbage time TD, too!!

If we play Oregon in the NCG....LSU 45 Oregon 17

So, Stanford's turnovers are credited to Oregon, but Oregon's turnovers were their own fault.
