The biggest BS is that LSU won't get any consideration if they lose even though they would still have the best resume of the one loss team!

The other thing is that the press doesn't seem to understand the tiebreaker. Simply being the highest in the BCS isn't enough if LSU/Bama/Arky end up in a 3-way tie. The top 2 of those three will then fall back to head-to-head (provided the 2nd team is within 5 spots).

Just imagine if LSU would lose to Arkansas or Georgia and have just one loss. How would it make you feel if VT jumped LSU. Would be a sad day.

It may be sad, but this is how the BCS system works. The polls are a "What have you done lately?" system. Mike and Mike were discussing this earlier and I agreed with them that a playoff is necessary.
