Herbstreit just said that they "basically" played at Death Valley in the 1st game.

I knew that would be coming as Oregon starting rolling........

How soon they forget those fast little Ducks had less than 200 yards of TOTAL offense before the 4th quarter started.

And NOLA would be less of an advantage?

He said it like a BCS Championship in the Superdome would be less of a home field advantage for LSU.

Honestly, if he really thinks they played in Death Valley, just wait til the 9th and you'll really see DV outside of Baton Rouge.

Maybe that's why we beat them so badly... the team was in Baton Rouge. The question is, who did we beat the hell out of? My guess is a high school team that just toured a highlighter factory...

They should be rated #1 because they like the color green.

No, but but but DAT has stopped being a little bitch and promises not to fumble in a rematch.

Herbie is really talking non-stop about how Bama, Okie State and Oregon all matchup so great with us AND we probably won't even go undefeated anyway. I wish this douche would wear some more makeup and hair gel or make bigger tanning bed rings around his eyes.

Ridiculous! That is horse shite to even imply that the team did not have to travel. Why are they do quick to take things away from our team??

The crowd is irrelevant because there would be a large LSU crowd anywhere in the fricking country! Especially in week 1 against a BCS opponent.

I'd enjoy slapping him in the face more, and then giving him some dove bodywash to cool that burning sensation.

Night games against SEC and decent OOC teams are banned in Tiger Stadium .....

And it was a night game

But Oregon is playing championship defense? They gave up 400 yards to Stanford.

Oregon was out gained and had a +3 TO margin. When we did the same to them, they gave the game away. But Stanford didn't?

Also Did you know that Oregon would have won the game if they didn't turn the ball over and Alabama would have won if their kicker would have made the kicks...........

But LSU gets no ifs..............Except if they lose according to Craig James, they our out of the discussion because they lost the latest.

So, does Herbstreit know that New Orleans is closer to Baton Rouge than Dallas and that the Superdome will be a lot friendlier and louder?
