Job Opening at Academy

I thought some of you might be interested about an open position at Academy's corporate headquarters in Katy. I have a friend that works there who was telling me that they are looking for someone to work on their eCommerce content management team specific to the field and stream division. They would be working with vendors to get their product descriptions and pictures so that they can sell them on their website. I think that they are wanting someone who really knows and loves hunting and fishing so that they'll have less of a learning curve and will enjoy the job more. My friend who works there really loves the company and thinks they have a great future. If anyone is interested or knows someone that is, please have them go to the URL below and apply. Senior Investigator - Loss Prevention (Birmingham area)
Description
Position will cover Birmingham metro area store locations.
Develops and implements programs to aid in the reduction of inventory losses
Promotes Academy safety programs and initiatives
Supervises, trains, and develops Loss Prevention associates within designated region
Identifies and addresses Loss Prevention training needs in assigned region
Partners with the District Managers, Store Directors and Associates to identify risk areas and develop appropriate controls to reduce losses
Utilizes Academy's point of sale exception reporting system to identify training issues and fraud
Conducts and ensures that loss prevention interviews are conducted according to Company standards
Ensures the effective utilization of physical security controls in assigned locations to prevent and reduce inventory shortage
Apprehends and processes shoplifting suspects in accordance with Company policies
Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
Minimum 5 years relevant business related work experience
Maintain confidentiality
Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations
Travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods
Maintain professional demeanor in tense and/or stressful situations
