Dots Diner on Jefferson Highway.

In all seriousness, River Road takes you right into Uptown New Orleans so look into some restaurats around there.

ETA: Brigtsen's, Dante's Kitchen, Boucherie, and Jacques Imos are all around there yet I can't gaurantee they will be open on Thanksgiving.

The Peppermill might have something. Its over near Lakeside Mall.

In that part of metry...tough. Might have to take Jefferson Hwy uptown for something. Bayona used to a T Day seating for lunch and dinner.
