Backup QB - Hasselbeck or Carson Palmer?

I've been sitting on Matt Hasselbeck all year as my backup QB. He's hot & cold, and never super (i.e., a backup QB). Carson Palmer is available in my league. What are folks' thoughts: drop Hasselbeck for the stretch run and try to pick up Carson Palmer? Or stay with Hasselbeck?
I've started looking at weeks 15-16 (which are playoffs for us): Hasselbeck is at Indy and then home vs JAX. Palmer is home against Detroit and then at KC. (My starting QB is Tebow, who during weeks 15-16 is home vs NE and then at Buffalo).
