The new search option sucks

Help Board

You always have google as an option. Just put tigerdroppings.com then the thread title in you search window.

I heartily agree.

And although this would normally go on the Help Board, it's so pressing and pervasive to the whole TD experience that I hope it stays on the Tiger Rant.

Well I sure as shite didn't call for it.

I'm sure there's some good business reason for the Google tie-in, but why not keep the other search options along with the Google link?

Weird.

Ovation Ultra 2178. It was discontinued in 2008, I believe. Parts were formed overseas but assembled in the USA or the other way around. I forget my Ovation history. I think it sat between the Celebrity and Elite series.

its harder to joxy with the new search

Mine does look suspiciously like the child of those two. I love my Ovation, but sometimes I wish its neck was a little bit thicker, or its fretboard was a little bit wider.

It gives you search results from like six years ago. Booo

For over a week now, I have not been able to reference old threads from lengthy debates that have already occurred. Just today, for example, I could not find my old thread about using the Treasury Department to create a new safety valve for monetary policy. That thread cannot be more than about 2 or 3 months old.

This happens to me every other day that I post now.

Please, please, please bring back the old search function options.
