I heard he was essentially a lock, but being at that game and seeing how well Eric Reid played, he's gotta want to follow in his footsteps.
Eric Reid = beast

I saw him come into the stands. Did not get a good feeling about that kid.

Sad to see.

I saw him at the game and he seemed to be enjoying the Gumps.

What he probably sees is that he could replace Mark Barron next year at Alabama, unfortunately.

I guess he doesn't follow recruiting much then.

I doubt the kid makes his pick based on the game. But it did not hurt for him to see Reid, a safety, be Lsu's best defensive weapon.

He has to chose between his Mama and his friend (Lacey). I'm betting on Mama.

He's friends with Reid too.

I mean if you are referring to Clinton-Dix my bet is Collins thinks he can win the job. Most 5 star players do.

oh i see. But it was his official visit to bama so that is probably why he seemed to be swayed that way

i stoped giving a crap about recruiting. He was on a official to alabama, of course he is going to be having a blast with them. It's all or nothing this year, i don't care if we recruit 25 two stars in feburary

I heard he's not buddy-buddy with Eric Reid. Maybe rumor. idk.

Last night's win doesn't hurt to get Landon though!

Landon is making his decision carefully and mostly based on which program has a better chance of grooming him as an NFL defensive back.

One game won't affect that.

Then he should have no trouble competing at LSU.

I'm all for Eric Reid, but, I think Collins has a decision to make. He will be successful with either choice. And, he's a Louisiana kid. I will pull for him in any instance.

Why? He's either going to LSU or our biggest threat in the West. Why would you pull for him if he went to Bama?
