Does LSU change things up tonight? Do they use the pass early to open up the run?
I believe they will have to throw it first in order to run.
That is all.

Les is pretty steady and stubborn and that should give you all you need to answer your question.

I think you're right but I think they need to open it up a little first. I'm not talking about 5 wide, but rather play action and bubble screens that are all ready in our playbook.
I just don't think our O line can handle their front 7 without a little softening.

Just like he never plays young talent over veterans. He might not change things up. But he might have a want to. Not knowing what he will do is the Miles Way.

With the great coaching staff we have, i would say you will see alot of what has been working, but also several plays made just for this game. Les always has them wondering.

I believe we are going to have to throw for over 200 yards this game... and hit a couple of big ones via air strike.

That said - I doubt we see much change in Philosophy.

Maybe not a "change" in philosophy just a reversal of steps to the final goal.
Had this discussion with the boss just yesterday (not about football) but this questioned was asked, "If the outcome is the same, does it matter how we get there?"
If in the second half, we can still pound them into submission, does it matter that we softened them up with the pass early. End result is if we can break their will in the second half and win, I think we're still OK with that.

Yes I don't think we see much deviation from the game plan, key to the game is going be which team gets worn down first. The game plans for both team are eerily similar..run,run,run your opponent into the submission.
