How often does our fan base come together like this?

It seems like almost every year when there's a big game that could go either way but LSU still has a chance in, there is almost as many, if not more of our own fans saying that LSU will lose. The "negatigers", but i havent seen that at all with this game. It looks like all ( from what ive seen im sure the negatigers are out there somewhere) of our fans are backing LSU and pretty confident. If anything ive seen more Bama fans saying that LSU will win this game, that doesnt happen often.
So i didnt really follow the board too much til 08. Was the fan base this united and confident about other LSU teams like 03 and 07 too, possibly 06? Just keeping busy for another 18 hours.

I won't be terribly disapointed in a loss if we play like we are capable and the game is a great one. Both these teams are loaded.

I keep trying to tell myself that, But i dont know how i can hold up. After the amazing season leading up knowing this team can easily win a national title after winning this game. But if they lose, to all teams....BAMA...i will probably be beyond disappointed. I will still be proud of the Tigers, but probably wont want to think about football for a few days.

thats what i keep telling myself this by i just dont think i believe it. I wont be upset with the team if they play their arse off but this team is special i know it. If they lose and dont get a shot to win the NC im going to be heartbroken
