I thought when they ended the Beta that Elite would be down until release day.

I thought the same thing. Stout, I"m sure you got an email too since you were in the Beta, but if we pay for the year or get it free with the $100 version of the game by the 15th it says I can get founder status. Did you get that too? I wonder what the perks are.

Yea I got it. Founder just means you get a banner/badge like the ones you unlocked in MW2 and maybe a gun camo I think.

alright so i must be out of the loop... what is the difference between the regular call of duty and the elite version? night vision again? can i just buy the regular version and still play with my homo's?

Elite is like the Battlelog in Battlefield. It's a website on the computer to track stats, map spawns, weapon information, etc... In the Beta it was mainly just a glorified player card/stats that you can view now.
You could join different like minded groups and play together. They had challenges to complete to win prizes, etc.
Once the full version comes out, I think there is supposed to be alot more.
It's what I am going to have to do since I waited to late to preorder and there were no more Hardened editions.

I have trouble logging into it from work because of the flash players and our filters so I will have to check out the new version this evening from home.

I'm under this impression as well. I bought the 1 year subscription at gamestop and they said they won't email me the code until release day

Ya'll are miss understanding me. I was trying to just sign up. Which i never did yet from the beta. I am signed up now but i have to wait till Tuesday until i can use it
