I have noticed that when Lee is on the pocket stepping back ready for a 10-20 yard throw, he very much reminds me of Marino's quick release with the ball. I guess it's Lee's stepback move along with his quick effectiveness with the ball, specially when the LSU receiver runs a slant.

Clearly an advantage over McC. Any thoughts on this?

Yes. I was and still am a big Marino fan. Lee definitely has his throwing motion. But not quite the arm strength.

I like th Marino comparison a lot, I have also thought he resembled Bret Farve's quick release as well - either way or both, he is having a heck of a season and keeps it rolling Saturday Night

Hell no. Marino was my fav player growing up. I'm a JLee fan, but he is definitely NOT Dan Marino.

Synthetic Mary Jane.
Nobody's comparing Lee with Marino's stats, completion %, or career yards.

"he very much reminds me of Marino's quick release with the ball" <---- This.

How many times did Dan put up 42 pts and lose 45-42 or something like that. He replaced my favorite LSU QB and became my favorite pro QB. To think, Trent Dilfer has a SB ring...
