sad beer problem

Last year I bought 1 - 120 Min IPA. Waited until Friday to enjoy it after work. Soon as I opened it I sneezed like 20 times and was all stopped up and couldn't taste a thing. So I chugged it and bought one a week later and finally got to enjoy it.
Last night (my birthday) I decided to open my 2010 The Abyss that I have stored since january. Low and behold I open it and start sneezing again. Couldn't taste a damn thing. The only way I could even smell what it was like was when I blew my nose real hard. So I chugged it. FML

Freak timing. Not allergic to beer just bad timing. Wasted two good beers that I couldnt taste. AGGHHHH

well, i come from a long line of beersneezers on the mothers side and beersnobbers on the fathers side, and unfortunately i had to make that monumental decision in about,,, well, a long time ago.. i have been pain free and sneeze free since switching to C L...

Kind of confused as to why you didnt just put the beer in the fridge and wait until you stopped sneezing. Also you probably aren't going to get a lot of sympathy from us in LA when you are able to essentially able to waste a 120 and then go to teh store and buy another one.

shouldnt wait so long to drink a 120, a year seems like it would kill some of the hop taste.

Easy fix. Pick up a sixer of bud light. Open a bud light first. If you start sneezing, slam the bud light and put the real beer back in the fridge. If you don't sneeze, open the good beer and enjoy it while simultaneously pouring the blt down the drain.

This was last year, but majestic liquor store in Addison. he keeps them in the back.
Not looking for sympathy at all, but ranting that I have had some bad luck with beer that I waited to drink. From now on Brown paper bag and I will drink it in the truck in the parking lot.
Just though it was kinda funny. some people gain happiness in others misfortune. Maybe I made someone happy

Normally I would agree with this, however you hit our heart strings with the beers you "wasted"
