ESPN: blue ribbon LSU basketball preview

Trent isn't a bad coach. He just needs what every coach needs. A few guys who can play. Maybe he's finally starting to get that with Turner, Hickey, O'Bryant, Stringer, Hamilton etc... Malik Morgan is on the way and hopefully the rumblings of Rico Gathers flipping to LSU will be true.

I think losing Derenbecker and Dotson is good for the team. They both looked way too slow for SEC play and neither had much of a want to defend.

I am really really exited about the freshmen class + Hamilton. Everything I have heard is that O'Bryant and Isaac are LEGIT.

The interesting thing to remember this year is that there is no longer an SEC West or SEC East in basketball, so we don't get to sit back and only worry about Bama.

I think this team should at least be fun to watch which is something we sorely lacked the last two years.

i watched a video of him talkin about the recruiting process a while ago, and they asked him who had been reaching out to him.

he says, "man, LSU has been contacting me since the 7th grade."
