Recommendations for Parking/Tailgating

Where should we park to tailgate around other LSU Fans and what time should we arrive on Saturday morning (from B'ham) to avoid the chaos that will certainly develop mid day.

We are coming from Bham as well. We got a parking pass for the Student Medical Center or whatever. Figured we could just take the shuttle to the quad...from there I dont know what to do. Also, no clue what time we should leave Bham. Any advice from the Rant is appreciated. TIA
