...and came across Shuck n' Dive! I decided to research the place on Trip Advisor and found tons of praise. I saw that one review gave the place only one star and had to read it! Here it is:

[quote]I and another girl went to this restaurant on Saturday night to have dinner and watch the game. While deciding what we were going to order the waitress advised she would not be serving me because I was wearing a baseball cap for a team other than LSU. We thought she was joking until her 4th or 5th stonefaced denial of service. I have never been treated in such a rude and arbitray manner. The restaurant was open to the public and we'd been seated and sitting for 10-15 minutes before being told we wouldn't be served and had to leave. Wouldn't care if this restaurant had Michelin stars I would never patronize a place that would treat people this way. /quote]

Awesome!!! I know this is THE place to be in SE Florida on Saturday Night!!!

Michigan Tiger, Wow thanks for the link, I know that I might be being a little harsh. But that's my kind of place where you better go in with a LSU cap on.

Hey man, I lived down there, a really cool place to watch would be the Elbow Room on A1A...however, there is a pretty active alumni group that used to be run by David Funes...but I think he is gone now...they used to meet at Shula's...Elbow Room overlooks a1a and the Atlantic.

Is the Elbow Room still an LSU place? This other spot appears to be stone cold LSU. I can't wait for some Breaux Bridge Boudin!
