I know this is germans, but there was a thread the other day before the place even opened and they didn't give much feedback? It was really packed when I passed by on Friday, does it take a while to get food or were there just that many people there?

Service really sucked the 3 times I've been, but the burger IMO is the best a brick and morter has to offer here in BR. Fries are pretty good too.

Thanks for the answer. I think I'll give it a couple weeks to work out the kinks before I go.

I wasn't that big of a fan. Nice bar though. It has been pointed out on this board that I have different tastes in burgers as everyone else as I like Fat Cow and not BurgerSmith. The burger was good enough that I will go back to enjoy a beer but not enough that I will crave the burger.

It took a while because it was packed and they had just opened. If you go in expecting it to take a while then it is not that bad of a wait at all.

I'd go now if I were you. My dad and I sat at the bar today and had a quick burger and fries. VERY good food, both enjoyed thoroughly, and we got there at 11 and were out by 1130.

I think the place will do fine, they just need some leadership in there. Tons of employees just tripping all over themselves trying to find busy work is what it looked like to me.

The sweet potato tots are ok, but the burgersmith style fries and bacon cheeseburger are the ta ta's.

Went there tonight. Was very surprised and really enjoyed it. Good tap selection and very quality. Way better than Fat Cow imo.

I like Fat Cow as well. Went again this weekend during an offtime. Still a good amount of people in the place, but it took me probably less than five minutes from order to sitting, to getting my burger. No bullshite. I know that some on here have balked about the time, and I'm sure when you go at high traffic times it takes longer, but I was expecting a wait and it was ready in no time.

Burger 5.75 w/ unlimited toppings. add bacon or cheese is .50-.75

Fries 2.75 for a big ole family sized basket of fresh cuts to share with a friend.

VERY reasonable. NO problem getting out for 10 w tax and drink w/ a small fries and soda.

The patty itself is better than fat cow. Some people may like fat cow for their options of different types of burgers, but I'm more of a fan of burgersmith.

Thinking about trying Burgersmith out today. I hope it is better than Fat Cow. Fat Cow's patty just has a strange flavor.

Ok. Just tried it. The burger was great. The service was not blazing fast by any means, but was not terrible. Got the Smith Fires (seasoned fries) with the cajun ranch and thought it was outstanding as well. This is one of my new faves.

Went to Burgersmith last night and must say I still prefer fat cow despite the price increase. The "apple wood smoked bacon" at burgersmith is just like the precooked microwavable bacon. And the fries were alright but not much better than fat cows. Plus the atmosphere in there blows. I'm taking fat cow anyday over burgersmith

I have a feeling you eat at Fat Cow a WHOLE lot...

The atmosphere at Burger Smith is so much beter than Fat Cow. I feel like im at Subway at Mickey D's.

It was way better than Five Guys. I can think of about 4-5 places I'd rather get a burger than there.

Also the Garlic fries at Burgersmith are legit!

I've been to fat cow three times and burgersmith once. How can you say a place like that has a better atmosphere? It's plain as frick. Fat cow didn't have beers on tap last I went but once they do it's instantly 10x better
