Another reason I hope we win Sat.

I'd obviously love to go to the BCS Championship Game, but holy moly, I don't want to have to play Boise State in the Sugar Bowl.
Don't get me wrong, I'm confident we'd win. I just think this is a very unsexy matchup. I wouldn't be able to get excited about that game.
Would definitely be in NOLA for the party, but I'd rather see a matchup with a top Big 10/Big 12 school. Boise = boring.

It would be a let down for us, and they will be very excited for that game. They always play well when they only have to play 1 tough game.

playing boise is a trap in my opinion
You beat them and they say well LSU is suppose to beat little Boise they should have beat them by more
blow them out and its well LSU pounded the little guy, good for you who cares
You lose and its going to be well Boise deserves to be in the NC every year from now on
its just a no win situation in my mind

I remember the last time LSU played in the sugar bowl we killed Notre Dame's football program. I'm guessing this would do the same for Boise if we crushed them.

In the championship game yes, we'd dominate. The Sugar Bowl, however, would be a trap. We would likely not have the fire to win and it would be tougher. Boise would have a lot to prove and could be dangerous in that scenario IMO.

I would enjoy playing Boise. Beat them bad, and we shut them up for good. Except playing them in the Sugar bowl would be really disappointing, and LSU players may play like they dont give a shite.

You guys are crazy, while yes I want to see LSU play for a NC but playing boise in the sugar bowl would not be that bad. I would love to see someone finally hand their arse to them. And believe me the tigers would have no problem getting motivated to play them. they would take out all of their frustrations on poor little boise. IT would finally shut them up

I'm really not sure why everyone is so confident we'd destroy BSU. I'm not even confident we would win. I've followed Boise fora while because I lived there, and when Peterson has a month to prepare...they can beat anyone. LSU better be prepared if we play Boise State because they'll be ready to play.

You may be right, who knows? Motivation in bowl games is hard to predict. Often the better team loses because it is not happy about being there. Just saying.
