I remember filling out the survey. Are you interested in information about premium club seating in the south endzone? Sure. Are you willing to purchase seats in a club level in the south endzone? Nope. Whatever they decide to charge probably won't be worth it.

Those seats will be bought up by local businesses mostly.

I'm praying that my current seats in section 419 aren't affected. Really. I'll be pissed as I do NOT want upper deck and can't afford the TAF fees in other sections.

UGH.

seen some prelim drawings floating around, rough sketches actually, adding 4-5k regular seats and some suites (30-40 suites)

2 levels of suites and a smaller 3rd level with seats

I remember when they tore down the original sideline upperdeck, they purposely curved the south end so that it could be made into a bowl in the next addition.

I know that LSU makes more for the suites then they do for normal seating but I don't want them do disrupt everything for 2 years just to add 4000-5000 seats and the suites. Heck, close in the upper bowl and add 10k to 14k and the suites. Now would be the time to let most everyone on the waiting list to commit to buy regular tickets for 3 years or more and take this bad boy up to the 110k range.

110 is too big imo. 97 to 100 thousand seems more likely.

Bryant Denny is unquestionably the best stadium in the conference. I love what they have done to that stadium in the last 10 years or so. LSU should take notes. That stadium wasn't all that impressive 20 years ago imo.

I may be wrong but I think it came from some work someone did back when Joe Dean started the idea of closing in the South End Zone and building a Car Garage for parking. Joe Dean's plan called for I think 115,000 total seating for Tiger Stadium when completed. Thats been a while and several AD's ago.

I would buy tickets in the South End Zone if I were still living in the U.S. I sat for many, many years in U16, Row C, Seat 33 and 34. I really enjoyed it because you could see really well and we had the Goal Line Stand against Notre Dame and other good moments while I had tickets.

I have seen what was presented to the athletic department and was surprised that much like the Bama stadium, the upper decks did not connect. It was all club level seating on two levels and an upper deck. Suites bring in some big money but not compared to the revenue from a few thousand club seats. From the model the depth went much further than I would have guessed. We are a BCS bowl, hopefully the championship, away from them pulling the trigger.
