Any thoughts on this movie or its sequel? Never seen it and was thinking about adding it to the Halloween night marathon.

Has anyone ever made a movie of the Gary Paulsen book Hatchet? That would be better than this.

The one with the kid that gets stuck in freezing woods? Yeah, I remember reading the book and watching the movie in grade school. Good stuff.

I forgot the name of that book but I remember every page. The pilot farts uncontrollably and (conveniently) crashes in a lake. He builds a fire with sparks from striking a rock with his hatchet. Attacked by a moose than almost dies in a tornado. The tornado moves the plane so the tail sticks out of the water. He gets the emergency transmitter and rescue comes.

The original Hatchet is pretty cool and definitely worth adding to your Halloween marathon
