Should Les Miles be given credit for setting up and laying the foundation for the current winning ways and National Title Hopes of Oklahoma State?

And I suppose you'll give Saban the same credit for establishing LSU's blueprint for winning?

I think that was the point... A sarcastic one at that.

anyone with half a brain does.

to answer the OP: Yes, Miles set the OSU program on the right path, just as Saban did for LSU

both deserve some credit for the success their former schools are enjoying

I would be more than willing to give Saban the credit like the National pundits do if only they could just give Miles the same respect......

He should be given credit for getting them going in the right direction, sure.

Also, Gundy still has yet to beat Stoops, though the program has been in much better shape during his tenure. Miles did it 2x, and almost a 3rd with a QB that eventually moved to LB.

I would give both Miles and Saban credit for starting a winning tradition at each school.I dont know the Okie State story but as much as I dont care for Saban he has to get credit for getting this sinking ship turned upright and on the right path. That being said Mark Emmert can never get enough credit for his leadership which allowed all of it to happen.

somewhat but gundy deserves a lot of credit. just like miles does for maintaining the success on the field and recruiting, gundy has done the same over there and taken it to the next level somewhat.

les got them headed in the right direction especially the type of athlete they recruit. gundy has done a really good job though. i dunno if they'll ever win a national title let alone a big 12 but he has done a very good job.

I think T. Boone and his millions is the correct answer.

To everyone saying T Boone, Les is the one that beat OU multiple times to get T Boone interested in donating money. I read somewhere T Boone specifically said this.
