I dont like the distractions or the negative image that comes along with it, but it some ways the suspensions/injuries have helped.

-Lee became the starter - Need I say more
-Jefferson came back hungrier and is playing harder
-With Shep out OBJ emerged
-Ware out allowed Hilliard his time to shine and got Ford out of the dog house
-With Honey Badger and Simon out, Brooks showed he could step up.
-Injuries on the Oline has helped build depth across the whole line.

Overall, i think the distractions helped bring this team together as the media and many others spoke so negatively about them. I also think it helped our team to refocus even more instead of getting distracted. Most importantly, it gave very valuable playing time to our 2nd and 3rd stringers that has really helped bring them along and NOW can provide even more solid depth to this talented team.

Thoughts?

Possibly. It, at least, has highlighted the depth of talent on this team and the fact that it is a team of great players, not a couple of stars that are standing out.

I just think each week, someone new steps up and responds to the call. We arent putting all our eggs in one basket. This team is deep, especially at the playmaker position.

3 QBs, 5 RBs, 5 WRs, 3 TEs. Pretty amazing.

This team has focused through all the distractions, have come together and bonded as a family. You can hear it in there talk and see it in their play.
