I like grass as much as anyone, but I think it is time to change to artificial turf. LSU has done almost everything imaginable to make the field a great playing surface, and the results have been poor to middling. I mean, I'm not complaining about the effort; it's just not holding up.

Any ideas?

Field Turf is the best....a friend of mine reps for them and they can prove it is safe which was always the knock...LSU, Reliant and even Phoenix stadiums cannot grow consistent turf....gives and edge to teams with speed....

Hybrid grass field that can hold weather. I thought it rained pretty good down there this week. It was wet underneath and that why it was and a little loose. Looked amazing at kickoff.

If you were at the game yesterday or even watching the game on TV, and you didn't see the condition of the field, then that moonshine you are drinking is definitely making you blind.
