Is LSU the only college team....

that has a live tiger as a mascot? There has to be at least a dozen Div-1 teams and who knows how many div-1AA teams that are the tigers.

I have heard that at one time, Memphis' live tiger was Mike V's brother... don't know if it is true or if they still have the same tiger.

I've never noticed it...not that I pay much attention to Memphis.

I've heard that too. Dunno what tiger they are on. His name is Tom though. Tigers Of Memphis.

I believe LSU, Memphis and Southern are the only colleges with live big cat mascots.

Was I the only one thinking they were seeing things recently on a Memphis TV game where they showed the tiger mascot in his cage at a game and there was a hole in the tiger's cage where the kids could pet him. He was even licking their hands. I was like WTF??
