Taking my son to Tiger Stadium for the first time today. There is something about seeing it through a child's eyes that makes it all brand new again. Geaux Tigers!!!

Nothing like it. FWIW, if he is younger, he may not make it through the game, and he may like the concession stand better than the stands. Don't push it. They love the Indian mounds, they love the tiger, and they love Louie's after the game. Also remember that is a lot of walking for little legs. Bring a football, and stop and smell some roses on the way. It is all new to him.

If he makes it through, hang out by the band exit and catch the drum major if you can. You can usually get a picture of your kid with the drum major, and they will usually let your kid hold the baton. Those are pictures you will treasure.

Always took my two kids everywhere I went. And I introduced them to as much about life as I could. We shared everything together. It has paid off in dividends. Always hugged them and told them I loved them everyday.........

He had a great time today! He's 11 so he went the distance! LOL! Took him to the Indian Mounds (just to look) and to the Bell Tower. He had already seen Mile's habitat and Shaq's statue. Saw the team go down Victory Hill and of course the band. He kept thanking me for taking him and telling me how awesome the game was. To top it off, he got his picture with Beckham Jr. after the game. It was a good day topped off by a Bayou butt whoopin' by Les and Co. Sure made up for all those games where a win or loss was separated by a field goal or less. Geaux Tigers!
