Pat Dye calling a defensive TO before the 4th down TD to Fuller, leaving Aubie with none for their final drive...that was pretty sweet.

I was listening on the radio, laying on the floor of my New Orleans apt. and you could feel the noise coming through the radio.

What a lot of people who weren't there don't realize is that the LSU offense had been simply stuffed all night until the final drive, they had something like 100 yards the entire game. And then got a very long drive with multiple 4th downs, then a couple of dropped TD passes, and then finally THE pass.

About as dramatic as it gets.

I was a freshman... didn't have tickets. I was sitting in Power Dorm with a bunch of other loser freshmen without tickets. When they scored that TD, you could hear the crowd noise through the closed lobby doors. We opened the doors and it was like you were in the stadium.

For those of you that aren't old enough to remember Power Dorm, it's where the East Campus Apartments are now, next to the lab school ... way across campus from Tiger Stadium.

foshizzle -- I saw you driving down Braddock near Van Doren the other day - I recognized your plate.
