Take 49 every time but 190 was under construction and backed up terribly fr the Florida game. Anyone taken 190 today? TIA

On 190, they've been working on a bridge in Livonia and it does back up. Really depends on the time of day you are coming through. Friday afternoon/evening is pretty bad, but early Saturday isn't too bad

I have family in Dallas and me and my dad always have the 190 vs. I-49 argument.

I prefer the interstate, non-stop; he loves 190. But I hear they raised some of the speed limits on 190 so i dont know now.

190 is usually the quickest route but lately on Fridays during game weeks it's backing up really bad, i probably sat it for about 45 mins for florida game. It's due to idiots not knowing how to line up properly and thinking they can stay in the left lane for as long as possible then forcing merging into the right lane. Makes a horrible bottle neck at the light.

Think going to try the I-10 route today.

It all depends on whether someone wants to make a left turn at the traffic light.

Went 190. Only hit that one snag in Livonia and it was clear the rest of the way

haven't gone on 190 in a month. then, they were closing the westbound bridge on the morganza spillway on the weekends for construction.

I've always taken 190 from I-49 instead of driving down to Lafayette and taking I-10. The route is shorter, and better on gas mileage. Just watch the speed limit drop-offs and you'll be fine.

I travel 190 every gameday, no problems at all. Heard there are some cluster you know whats on Friday afternoons but Saturday morning & evening are clear sailing.
