I have a hot shot business and have delivered there many times. Dont know the guys first name but last name is Moran. One company man from Chesapeake told me he is biggest giver to Tiger Athletics in the world! According to him Les has been there many times.

I didn't think they liked LSU in Shreveport. According to many here, everyone is an Arkansas fan up there.

I know hundreds of LSU fans in the shreveport area and only 1 or 2 Arkansas fans.

If you replace LSU with Saints, and Arksansas with Cowboys, i would believe you though.

I saw that on my way up to Dallas for the Oregon game. I thought someone had just done that for the people to see on the drive up for the big game.

I was told by a guy that lives near there that the owner of that place sold his mineral rights to the tune of around 250 million. He is a big LSU backer and put some of the money into that big LSU display on I49.

(that NW Louisiana natural gas boom has made alot of people millionairs)

It's been there at least 3 years or so... could be a lot longer. That's just how long I've been going to Shreveport regularly.

started after 03 championship. They put up the flag poles and a sign. Also there was a tribute to Hester. Then when the shale money came in the big sign was put up. The big sign is actually a barrier for a well site. Pretty common up here the graphics were just added to the wall.

You do realize Shreveport has a significant sized LSU alumni population, don't you?

Oil company wanted to drill several wells on his property, right near the interstate. As part of that agreement, he had them build that fence and paint it purple and gold.

nice, but talk about dedication and money to burn.
What does one get out of all the donations and such?

I saw those on a trip to BR last week. I haven't been on 49 going south from Shreveport in a while. How long has it been there?
