Name one other team who could do this

Can you think of another program that could lose a Heisman hopeful, their leading rusher, and one of their best db's and still be expected to beat a top 20 opponent? The cupboard is full, people. The coaching staff has done a fantastic job of recruiting. Despite these off-field issues, it's a great time to be a Tiger fan.

Alabama lol. Richardson is our Heisman hopeful and our leading rusher. Take out Dre or Barron and we'd still win. :P But I get it, LSU is a FINE program with a great recruiter!

Anybody in the top 10, really. The gap between those teams and the rest of the top 25 is fairly significant.

the media will be anxious, and even quite happy to report an LSU domination of Auburn even with the suspensions. I will be happy to hear and read this as well... because it will happen.

Take out Richardson and Bama may still beat a quality opponent, but take out Richardson and your top defensive star, plus a top corner and things may be different. If you don't think losing a top DB can change the game, look no further than the LSU vs Bama game a few years back when Julio Jones scored a game winner on a routine play when Patrick Peterson left the game with leg cramps. Losing a stud DB is huge, much less losing 2.

But you wouldn't necessarily beat Auburn.
And it's "take out Dre AND Barron".
