Using synthetic Pot, a local college athlete around here DIED at practice using that stuff. The Coroner directly said the JWH+ physical activity caused the death. Sure they made a mistake, by breaking the NCAA's rules but at least they won't suffer the same fate as this poor guy.

EDIT:For the record I'm Libertarian as shite, support full legalization of all substances so don't come at me brahs.

What about the fact that it's a banned substance under the NCAA policy?

Do you have a point? I'm not saying the shite should be illegal, I'm just saying that this stuff mixed with intense athletic activity can cause death. You're not going to out Libertarian me brah.

The point is that you are trying hard to draw parallels.

More folks die due to drunk driving than by drugs. Are you going to stop drinking or just do it responsibly?

So stop with the fricking holier than thou attitude.

That's what Fox is reporting. Is there another substance that's being claimed to be used?

And at least this synthetic marijuana is a recently banned substance. I'm sure there's a grace period??

Synthetic pot was also reported on WWL. Regardless, there is no official report so I wish people would quit assuming things.

Okay you have obviously aren't getting it. I've spent ungodly amounts of money on weed in my life, I've also probably spent about a grand on synthetic pot back when I was a dumbass high school kid. My point has nothing to do with it being a morally bad thing to do.

My point is that this shite will kill you if you physically exert yourself while on this shite. mentioning alcohol and DUI is fricking irrelevant. Nobody is going to get drunk and play football,if you do you'll probably yack everywhere. however I myself, along with lots of other guys I know played football high, or after smoking weed.

The point is exercise and JWH can cause your body temperature to raise too high and shut your organs down. We don't need our fine athletes dropping dead because they were smoking JWH and then playing football. It's best they got caught for their own safety. If you want to sit at home on the couch and smoke JWH, weed, snort coke, drink alcohol I DON'T GIVE A shite But we don't need our boys smoking this shite during the season it's not worth their life. And for you to defend it is the same as defending drunk driving (which I can't say I'm innocent of either).

Ok here is the point.

The drug test they use for synthetic pot only test for JWH018.
JWH018 has been removed from synthetic pot a well over a year ago.
So unless they bought some a long time ago and saved for a special occasion those reports are beyond bogus.

You could drink a lot, work out the next day and have a heart attack, die of dehydration, alcohol poisoning, etc. People die of random crap every day. I don't think synthetic marijuana is high up on the list of causes, and also I don't think it is very dangerous even if one kid is reported to have died after smoking it and working out.

Not necessarily, you have to realize anytime they ban one of these substances they go back in the lab tweak it, and it becomes a new substances. There are hundreds and hundreds synthetic cannabinoids. I've done plenty of research on them

There are about 100 in the JWH family alone

There are also other families of synthetic cannabinoids such the HU family, the CP family, the AM family. They can ban JWH 018, but that doesn't ban the infinite list that can be created. They banned the shite here as well, but I can go to well over 20 stores around here and buy the shite.

Has have I. With 100% certainty the only 2 substances that will red flag are JWH018 and JWH018.
Some of the others HU210, CP4794, C6, C7, C8 and c9 are not prominent enough.
JWHO18+ produces an acid which is what the test try to read. Without the presence of this chemical the acid is not prominent enough to red flag.

JWH-073, JWH-200, CP-47,497, and cannabicyclohexanol now.

The second ban wasnt only but a couple of months ago, and theres specific tests that can be ordered/used to test for all.
They added compounds to the list after the 1st ban wasnt effective.

not saying the reports are true, but its definitely not far fetched.

Point being all of those "tested" chemicals have not been used in making synthetic marijuana for a while. Hence they could not test positive for this unless they had a stash from a long time ago.

I am. The reports are not true. I'll take a permaban if the reports are 100% verified.

What ISNT far fetched is that it was just mid terms and they tested positive for adderall/vyvanse.
