I don't see how that's possible. NCAA requires year-round testing for athletes.

Not sure about official NCAA policy, but I played a couple years NCAA hoops and we were tested randomly pretty often. And we still probably had 60 percent smoking, but never had anyone suspended while I was there.

I walked pass some NBA players at a hotel and they had the rastafarian (sp) smell.

I played D1-AA football. I would say 75% of the team either smoked or ingested something that would cause a positive drug test.
