First of all, let me say that I like the swagger of some of the players, so I am not referring to that. I am thinking about some of the players starting to think that they are something special, besides great players. i.e. rock stars or celebrities

I have noticed a couple of times where some of the players have tried for the stripping of the ball, while missing their tackle.. it seems as of they want the Home Run first and the basics later.
Are some looking for the video on ESPN first ?

Then we have the pics with fans while the game is still on ..and yes I am aware that the game was virtually over..but virtually is not over.
It is more about right place / right time.

I hope AU gives us everything we want this weekend and more.
If nothign more than a wakeup call.

We've been rolling along a little too easy so far.
Nov 5th is gonna be a war...sometimes adversity has a tendency to humble people and make them re-focus.
I suppose what Im saying is I want us to be 110% vs alabama.

More than we want? Wouldn't that mean a loss?

Even if we beat the crap out of AU, the talking heads are going to give us little chance in Tuscaloosa and Bama will be favored in Vegas. I think this will get the team refocused.

All players at big colleges are thought of this way. Plus LSU was up 38-7 and the punter takes pictures with fans not that big of a deal. If your number 1 in the polls you have to think your the best and not be 2nd place to anyone.

These are all awesome points. You crushed this thread. You're the smartest fan on here for recognizing everything, and calling our attention to it. Amazing job.

Someone call Miles, and alert him to all this. This is serious stuff. Holy shite, how have we as a fanbase not recognized the coming of the end?

I'm guessing you're talking about TM7 going for the strip. Usually I hate seeing a player do that rather than focusing on the tackle, but with his track record, strip away.

no problem ... up to a point.
but
the score being 38-7 has nothing to do with the issue.
the game is still on..their heads should be in the game until over.
it is called discipline

after the game is over...do do what you want...no problem

I'm not worried about their heads getting too big now. We'll dominate AU and their freshman QB in Tiger Stadium. I'm only worried about their big heads against Arkansas (after we beat the shite out of Bama).

There was less than 4 min (if that) in the game. The game was over.

This isn't a bad thread. I think it comes down to how well Miles can control them. When you have a team that isn't that good, the challenge is to coach them up and get their confidence high. When you're as good as we are, the challenge is keeping them focused.

Its not a bad problem to have. Beats mediocrity right out the park.
