Walking Dead Spoilers. Comic/show Spoilers. just saying it WILL have spoilers
Posted by vilma4prez on 10/18/11 at 11:29 am00
I know some will bitch about too many Walking Dead threads but.. it's October.. halloween and stuff.
Anyway, What are some theories on where the show is going? Iknow they deviated a bit, but I can see some things happening.
A.) the last scene could be a good set up to what will happen with Shane. Two pissed off men with underlying distrust for each other?
B.) the blond in the RV ends up very important in the Comic. But I don't see the show starting a relationship with the old man.
Anyway, I've got more... what do ya'll think?

If they leave out Tyrese and the prison I will be pissed.
Also, Carol needs to get hot...fast!

I think Carl needs a fricking revolver and they need to go to Wilshire Estates. If they are going to the farm next like in the comic, the prison is not far behind.
Also, Carl's wound is too far down. In the comic he gets shot in the shoulder which is more believable than a stomach wound.

Yeah, see I'm actually thinking it will be Tyrese that shot the deer. Who will then help the group and become the 2nd leader.
I think the boy will be fine. If not, well... thats a pretty big step.

If they avoid the prison I'll be pissed. If they mitigate Carl Jr. and don't kill of the wife by this season I'll be pissed (even though she gets killed at the end of the prison so probably never mind).
If they don't show the Zombie Olympics, I'll be pissed.
And if they don't show the Cannibals, I'll just be disappointed.

Shane should have been dead a long time ago

I could see them waiting on this one. It's the main storyline right now.
They will include the prison. It is just too good of a scene. Zombies in cells, the irony of being in a place to keep people in , to keep zombies out. I will be included.

Shane was dead in the first 5-10 issues I believe. My memory is hazy but I remember the main plot points.
I have to believe Willshire Estates is next, even though it seems everything is rushed. Empty Willshire Estates. Recruited Community. Then from there its Cannibals. Then Prison. Then Crazy Town. Attack on the Prison. Everyone dies. Carl/Carl Jr. are now running for their lives. I believe thats whats up.

Carl gets shot right after they leave Wilshire Estates. Farm should be next. The Prison comes right after that.

He dies in #6
#7 They meet Tyrese and Lori tells Rick she's pregnant
#8 They find Wiltshire Estates
#9 They leave Wiltshire Estates and Carl gets shot
#10-12 Farm. At the end of #12 prison
The TV series must be completely different.

They better not leave her out.

I'm wondering what they will do with Daryl. I think it would be fantastic if he leaves , only to return in the series as The Governor or something.
Also, do they have the balls to bring in Michonne (sp)?

The only way they follow this is if they kill off Shane, Meet Tyrese and Lori tells him she's pregnant all in the same episode.
But I'm putting money they cut out Wiltshire Estates all together. They're going straight to Farm so Japanese Sun Soo can fall in love with the Farmer's Daughter and their pack gets bigger.

She's a bad negress, it would be Politically Incorrect to leave her out...strong black female...come on, that's like a network's dream.

I bet Darryl's brother will end up being the Governor. I'd bet all money on it. He has no hand- Rick has no hand. Two one armed men battling it out.

That was my guess when Merle lost his hand and disappeared. He will come back as the governor and will make Rick suffer (possibly by killing Lori is my guess).
Don't expect Rick to lose his hand though. Robert Kirkman said this was one of his biggest regrets in the graphic novel series. I doubt it happens in the show

Seriously? That sucks. I thought him losing the hand would add depth to his character. You think Merle losing his was kind of paying tribute to that in a way?

I think it was definitely a tribute to it. He very well might happen in the show, but I'd be surprised. I'm remember reading in an interview where Kirkman said he did it without really thinking about the long term. He then had to change how Rick did everything since he was missing a hand. To he honest, I wasn't a fan of it
