How similar is Auburn's offense to Oregon's? I feel good about us winning; however, watching AU against a decent UF defense Saturday, it did seem tough to follow who had the ball. Auburn's passing is nonthreatening, but their rushing has me a little concerned.

They will be starting a new QB...Mosley. So we have zero film to go by. Plus,I think they are getting back their WR that have been out for a few weeks.

I am not the expert you requested, but... I know one who is, Chavis... he will have an answer for whatever Auburn brings... we didnt have our best game against Auburn last year, a couple dropped passes was the difference for us on Off. and we tackled horrible on Def. I see us extracting some revenge this Sat. Kinda like we did Tenn. last Sat.

Didn't know about the WR. I guess as with any SEC team, there is reason for concern. Glad it is a home game. It'll give them almost 1 less day of practice with the new QB.

Auburn doesn't base their run game off of the inside/outside zone scheme. Believe it or not they are a mostly power (block down, kick out) type team. They also rely heavily on the playaction pass more than the mighty ducks

Basically the only true similarity is the pace that they play with. The main idea is to get a play off every 14 seconds. Hope this was helpful

I expect another game very similar to UT.

Thanks! Didn't realize they are more a power running team. I guess I've been fooled by the "gadgetry" and pace. Based on what you said, our D matches up well.

The words "exerts" and "rant" should never be used in the same post.

I am not an expert, but I will be taking auburn and the points this week.21.5 is to large for me, and I feel like auburn is going to slow down the game. Actually I probably won't bet, because betting against the tigers isn't fun even when you win your bet.

This just means that we'll be getting the ball back a lot quicker won't we?

My only hope is Lsu does not over look them this week as we look ahead to Bama. The barners are not near as good as the Tigers but we had better play!

is this a joke? They most certainly have the athletes. Their qb is not as athletic or as good IMO.

Dyer>>>>>Poole . We will have to stack the middle and hope we hold the perimeter with their misdirection and screens. I think we will, but maltzan is a great playcaller.

They are a power running team this year relying almost entirely on Dyer and McCalebb. We'll likely see our D load the box and make Trotter or Moseley pass which they are not good at.

If we had any semblence of offense we could've knocked them off last year at their place. I'm not too concerned this year.
