UL animosity towards LSU

Went to the UL game yesterday since LSU was up in Knoxville and my buddy had a free ticket.
I was shocked to find that 1 out of every 10 UL fans had some type of tee shirt with different derogatory remarks regarding LSU.....why?

Like I said anytime UL or ULL or USL has any success and its posted on the MSB.
A few assholes are good for "who cares" "who are they playing" "its still the sun belt" "ohh la la" "why are we talking about Louisville"
That shite is old and uncalled for especially when LSU is clearly the only elite team in LA and is #1 in the nation. Some LSU fans still see the need to hate on a team thats never had success before.

Of course there was another drunk Cajun that walked up behind us (we were all wearing red at our family's tailgate, watching the LSU game) and started cussing us (with kids around) and then started screaming at the tv for Jefferson to get hurt and "Go Tennessee!".
Then he told us we should all go eat sushi after the LSU game.
Never going to another UL game....gave it a shot to try and support Hud
