are actually living a charade. The SEC is bad this year. I haven't seen the SEC, overall, at this level maybe in my lifetime.

Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia are not top 25 teams this year. I've NEVER seen the SEC East at this level.

Add to that, the Mississippi schools are just awful this year. Arkansas is not even as good as they were last year.

There are only three surefire top 25 teams in the conference this year, Bama, LSU, and Arkansas, and there are only two who are surefire top 10 teams.

I've come to the conclusion that both teams are really just beating the shite out of glorified Big East teams this year. It's really nothing to get excited about, and in my opinion, both teams have major flaws that no team on the schedule can expose other than when they play each other.

We're really not THAT good. We both just seem that good because the SEC is really down this year.

Except for the fact that we handily beat Oregon and West Virginia away from home...

I was with you until here. We've also beaten the best team in the Pac and one of the best in the Big East.

LSU trounced Oregon who could win the pac 10 and WVA who will win the Big Least.

LSU and Bama are both very, very good.

Below LSU and Bama, possibly Arkanasas...there is a huge drop off in the SEC this year. Still, LSU and Bama are among the elite this year.

I get what you're saying, but if LSU and Bama aren't that good, who in the country is good? The Oklahoma team struggling with Kansas right now and who barely beat a shitty FSU team? Wisconsin...who have they played?

We don't have to be one of the best teams ever, just the best team this year.

So what is the best conference in your opinion this year. We all can see that the SEC does suck but that does not mean that LSU/Bama are not the best teams in the country.

The SEC is garbage this year. I have been saying that all year. The rest of the SEC outside of 2 teams is as bad as I have ever seen it. The rest of college football is down as well. Look at what passes for a top 25 team this year. I do believe Bama and LSU are very good teams.

Which are both quality wins. Both of those beat Bama's best win this year by, which is Arky at home. IDGAF about Penn State's record. They are absolute garbage.

Well I believe you.....

Except we already beat likely champions from the Big East and Pac12, while dominating every single opponent (ranked and unranked) that we've played.

I don't know what charade you're referring to

So, who do you see as being better than LSU/Bama based on games played thus far.

LSU fans - finding new and ludicrous ways to needlessly denigrate the team since 1893.

From top to bottom, I believe the Big 12 and the Pac 10 are both better than the SEC.

Georgia is a very good team. 3rd best in the league, 4th at worst.

Richt is a shitty motivator apparently. This is how I would rank the sec

Alabama/lsu
Georgia
Arky
Auburn
S caro
State
Florida
Tenn
Vandy
Kentucky
Ole miss

We have yet to play any good sec teams. So I agree somewhat

I feel like new posters should be made to watch every game from 1992 before they're allowed to post here. Maybe then they'll appreciate what's going on at LSU these days.
