I'd say purple - bigger contrast with the opponents colors should be the usual road game rule.

TigerHuck, use something that doesn't look like orange. The home team will cover you up in orange. I would go with purple, white lettering. No Crocs. Unless they are purple.

What does this mean, you ask? Well, not much, but we just thought that we would award your convictions on the matter. This message will be sen by tens and tens of people, so I would expect a surge in purple shirts in the greater Baton Rouge area in advance of people leaving for the game. So if you are local, then you might want to procure your purple shirt, if you don't already have one, before it is too late.

Thank you for your response. As you correctly pointed out, Louisiana State University has already deemed the battle between the Fighting Tigers of LSU and the Fighting Kiges of WKU as the purple HOME game. What I'm proposing is to make UT our purple AWAY game. See, this way, everyone gets to wear their purple shirt twice - more bang for the buck.
Please dress accordingly if going to the game.
