Detroit Chrysler Commercial censored (ALCS related)

So the Chrysler commercial they have been showing during the playoffs and general TV shows a number of scenes, streets, and people in Detroit as part of their slogan "Imported from Detroit". As a Detroit native and Tiger fan, I like the commercial.
So one scene has a guy and his wife in the front of their house and the guy is wearing a black Detroit Tiger t-shirt. Not a big deal, but I liked seeing it during the ALCS. Well they have since censored it (both during ALCS and in general) and the guy is just wearing a black T.
Is this some sort of rights issue or are the networks being lame and censoring to not offend Rangers fans?

Most likely the networks are censoring it so not show a bias towards one team.

I remember seeing the Detroit "D" in the doorway, thinking, 'cool...Detroit is in the ALCS, too'

Yeah, it was pretty cool and liked the whole commercial. Then I was watching it again and I just the guy in a black T.
That's pretty awful if the networks did it for bi-partisan reasons. Are they gonna censor the San Francisco Giants Taco Bell commercial too with Brian Wilson?
