Remember when he would do that little 'dance' that looked like he was having a seizure?

I used to laugh my arse off at that thing. I'll never forget how it would deflate down to its head then explode back up. So stupid I couldn't help but laugh. Especially the time it shot silly string out of the top of its head all over the handicapped people on field level. That was awesome.

Guy was hilarious. I remember some idiot in the student section throwing an unopened bottle of water onto the field from like 20+ rows up and it hit him in the head. One of the funniest things I've seen in Tiger Stadium when it pushed in his head then shot back into the air.

One of the worst ideas LSU ever came up with.

My favorite Ellis Hugh moment...he was leading the team out onto the field and he got knocked over by one of the players...he was on his back and he couldn't get up. He was just rolling back and forth trying to get up. After a period of time, someone finally helped him up...We were in tears...

I remember that. What years did we use this thing? I want to say 97-99 maybe.

More recent than that. Late Saban/early Miles I think.

I think it was late Dinardo/ early Saban. I remember being in high school when they had Ellis, and I graduated HS in 2002. I know they only used it for 2, 3 seasons tops.

i definitely recall it walking around at the Tenn game in Knoxville, circa 2001, I think. The one where Kelly Washington had like 28 receptions for 947 yards.

2001 was the last year I think. I remember looking for it in 02 and it was gone. If i had to guess id say it was 99-01.

It was the 00 season. When they unveiled it, they said they found him in Omaha, so that would've been before the 00 season
