Baseball season drags to me. Mainly bc there's no other sports I give a shite about in April.

That's why it is so interesting, unlike the NBA and MLB the endless seasons.

Makes me sad. College football is the best sport around. Period.

Was just thinking the same thing this morning. You wait all year for football season to get here, and it seems like you blink and its over.

And people leave early?

You enjoy every second of our games. There are only 6 or 7 home dates each year.

We won't be halfway done until the end of the game on Saturday. Make no mistake, we have 6 more regular season games, plus the SEC title game, plus the national championship game.

So we're not halfway there yet.

And we are already bowl eligible. How far have we come? I remember 1995 and how excited we were to go to the Independence Bowl.

halfway there. Trying to enjoy every minute of it but catch myself looking forward rather than basking in victory.

Before the season, almost everyone would have thought maybe 1-2 loses so far this year...instead, we are totally dominating teams, this is a special year, I hope we can keep it going, but that very success is what makes it seem like it is going too fast!

YES we have progressed significantly over the past 15 years. Once we got accustomed to winning the Independence Bowl we advanced to the Georgia Dome and dominated the 2nd half against Ga. Tech in another bowl game. I was there for that one and it was AWESOME! Playing an outstanding 1st half against UT in Cotton Bowl was another memorable step in the right direction. I was there for that one as well. I knew great things were about to happen - soon.

Then we win the National Championship the next year in 2003 and miraculously get to do it again in 2007. NOW here we are at #1 in the nation.... Every Th/Sat. is an event for me during the college football season. You know LSU is going to compete for victory every game. Great to be a Tiger fan. Season is moving along at a great pace in 2011. Keep it up Tigers. NEXT!
