F.A.L.C.O.N.S. = Fans Always Left Counting On Next Season

Saints fans think they've had it rough their whole existence. Not even remotely close.

Mike Smith does not have control of this team. Mike Mularkey and Brian VanGorder both need to go. This team is in serious trouble starting with EVERY position but the linebackers and Brent Grimes. It is becoming clear to me that Matt Ryan in his 4th year has hit a ceiling and we simply cannot be "explosive" with his type arm.

Simply put, the Saints will win this division until Drew Brees retires or gets injured.

-Sincerely
A falcons fan who is beyond tired of supporting this dick poor team.

5 games in huh?

Pretty much what I hear fans on the radio say all the time. From Super Bowl bound to fire the whole staff and cut all the players in 5-6 games

You mean to tell me that a WR wasn't the missing piece for a Lombardi trophy?

Last year as a fluke? Oh, not really. It also helped our O line wasn't a bunch of 350+ lbs. idiot monkeys that couldn't even block me out there. There were a few plays that went our way but the same could be said about the +45646546 you guys had in turnover margin during the Super Bowl year.

Regardless, it doesn't matter. The Falcons will be lucky to win 9 games this season and this season is all that matters now.

ETA: Although, if you're counting a 13 win season for an Atlanta Falcons team as a "fluke"... then hell yes it was a fluke. Our tradition has been marred with shite teams and that's what we got again.

Who are you talking to?

Just my two cents: I don't think last year was a "fluke." I think you guys just played solid football and played within yourselves.

Only in the same sense that saying a touchdown pass is a "Play that happened to go our way"...

That turnover margin was generated by being aggressive on defense. It wasn't an accident.

And to add injury to insult...

Coach Mike Smith said he doesn't know if Julio Jones (hamstring) will be able to play in Sunday's game against the Panthers.
