All joking aside, I've never seen Florida Football in this type of predicament before in my life. I can't even remember the last time one of our starting QBs missed a game due to injury....it's probably been a decade +

No excuses though, injuries are a part of the game, everyone has them, and true freshman QBs start every Saturday across the country (wasn't JL a tf in 08?). I was only hoping our True Freshman QB got a start or two somewhere else before making his 1st start in DV. Then he goes down due to injury (Driskel), so it's looking like another true freshman will step up in his place....except this guy (Brissett) hasn't even taken 1 snap at the college level ever (not even garbage time), his first snap will be a start in DV. To make matters even crazier he has only been on campus for all of 2 months.....today should be interesting to say the least.

Here's to an injury free game on both sides and UF pulling off an all-time miracle

Great stuff.

Here's to hoping that your Gators get things back together AFTER today.

Just bad football luck. If this had happened to us before JJ came back, we'd have had to throw Rivers or Randall out there. Here's to an injury free game.

UF's defense will at least keep them somewhat in the game. If Weiss can figure out a way to just get a couple first downs on each posession, and somehow make it to the 4th quarter, anything can happen.

I look for a tight game. Florida has a really good defense and I'm not sure yet how our team breaks through.

Yeah, LSU is deep @ the QB position this year. It's amazing how the roles have switched in that regard since 2008..... y'all had a freshman in JL starting in the Swamp with no depth behind him while UF had Tebow, Cam, and Brantley. Now LSU is 3 deep @ QB and UF is starting the true freshman. Please, no celebratory punts into the stands

just call this a "rebuilding year", somehow that always makes people feel better. But really, giving a young qtrbk this kind of experience will give him a head start and make him better later on.

Like to see the Gators at full strength, makes for better football games, more excitement and to me that's what it's all about. To a good game.
