Sunset on Saturday
Posted by tweaver18 on 10/6/11 at 9:46 pm00
What's the chance the sun will have set or be close to setting by the fourth quarter Saturday? Because I think we'll all agree that the atmosphere is so awesome at night in Death Valley.

Won't set until after the game
Wait until after Daylight Saving time for it to get dark in the 4thQ

It'll still set behind the west uppers. We'll get some shade after halftime.

Not if you're sitting in the traditional visitors seating.
You might catch some shade while the players are shaking hands, but that's about it.
Now the November games...

Only supposed to be about a 10% chance of rain but if there was a huge thunderstorm that delayed the game say an hour (think Oregon State '04) then . . .

It doesn't need to be sunset. Just do me a favor and stop sitting on your hands. On 3rd down get up out of your seat and make some noise. Grab the guy in front of you and have him do the same. When the players wave their arms up and down there asking for you to make some noise. There is nothing more aggravating than some douchbag who comes to a big game and wants to sit on his hands. Watch it at home. If your there let's help the team out, fire them up send a message that no one and I mean no one comes in our house and pushes us around!

I predict it will set on the Gators' season sometime around 4:00.
