I really was surprised how fluid he looked. Kid looked very efficient.

Say what you will, but he brings a significant wrinkle.

And for you killjoys, he can't be RS now.....so no controversy with Mett in 2012.

He looked extremely good running the ball. Better than anyone else today IMO

he did the same stuff last year. people would just load up the box, stop us twice and then he would throw an incompletion on 3rd down.

It is something worth preparing for. Besides, he won't be starting, so myth busted dolla.

It's only the 5th game

Don't forget there were two runs for loss, and Lee still had to be re-inserted on 3rd and long in that series

Its just a rhythm killer

I'll say it, his 40 YPG last year did not scare any opponent last year.

He ran very well and ran hard, with a chip on his shoulder. I liked what I saw. We all have opinions on what it takes to beat so and so, but I do believe a QB that can run will be crucial against some of our tougher opponents.

Jefferson is a good runner, especially in running specific plays.

He obviously brings a lot to the table when used correctly. Anyone who couldn't see that is just blinded by their hate.

Yep, he convinced me that we will need him. I wasn't so sure.

He ran the read option well last year but not the sweep action.

He ran the sweep action well today.

But let's not get crazy. He ran a total of three plays - a sneak, a read option, and a sweep option.

I do think he'll be need in certain situations at some point this season.

But his runing opens up opportunities for other running. He wasn't intended to be the principal ball carrier. Please tell me you aren't this stupid. I know that you are and you know that you are, but tell me anyway.

THIS. JJ has been doing what he did today for 2 years and our offense has been putrid with his "skill set".

This offense was putrid with Gary Crowton running the show. You can't convince me that JJ or Lee had a chance of succeeding without having a QB coach for the last 4 years. Also, the play calling was terrible, and was not JJs fault.

What's more childish, my name calling.
Or a bunch of adults posting thousands of negative comments about a kid that can't defend himself here?
Am I the child?
You call the behavior of the Jefferson haters adult?
If you don't like what I write you can respond. You did. He can't.
So I have no problem jumping on the brain dead bullies.
