It's also on ESPN Gameplan, if you have that. This is the SEC Network for both Gameplan and the independent Houston station 57 The Kube.
I find ch. 57 usually has slightly better video & audio quality compared to the Gameplan channel, but both will be SD (full screen, not HD)...

Three or four different channels will have it if you have the directv sports pack. MSG is one and I think I saw one of the Fox Sports channels and ALT had it listed as well.

Great observation !!
This is important not only for the Houston area but also for all viewers around the nation...
MSG (634), Fox Sports Detroit (664-1), ALTHD (681), and Comcast Sportsnet California (698) are 4 channels of the Directv Sports Package that are all listed as showing the game in HD. Yes, HD !!
I may be mistaken, but anyone that has HD Directv (and doesn't now have this Package) should be able to call and get this Sports Package for a max. of about $13 for at least the next month and see not only this LSU game in HD but also many other games in the next month. IDK, blackouts may apply for this LSU game (maybe in Louisiana and Kentucky)...
You can always call back and cancel this Package in the future, IMO.
JMO - I haven't checked with Directv, but it may be worth a call to Directv (800-531-5000) this morning to see if this is a viable option (if you want to do this). You should be able to receive this Package within minutes of your "confirmed order".
ETA - this info may help LSU viewers and other viewers around the nation.

DirecTV channel 634 (MSG) always shows the morning SEC games. TaserTiger is right. You can cancel at any time. In fact if you are really cheap you can order it today cancel after the game. Order again next Saturday and so on but thats a lot of work to save $12 a month

Just ordered it. Thanks for the info. It was only $4 extra because of the service we already have.
