Look at these plays and tell me how JJ can't help this offense

fast forward to 4:56

fast forward to :55

I'm not saying these plays are in the playbook. But Coach Krag WILL utilize JJ to the best of his abilities. The dude is done a 180 on our offense already. Coach Krag & JJ will make an already good offense, dynamic and unstoppable!

When have you ever seen JJ run an option like RP did in that video? The reason the option has sucked the past few years isn't because it's a bad play. It's because it's being run poorly.

Having said that, I welcome JJ back with open arms. There is definitely a role for him on this team. It just isn't as a starting QB.

Perrilloux>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>JJ

JJ tried to run those plays. They never worked quite the same.

He took two steps and pitched it against Ole Miss last year. RP ran 20 yards laterally and 10 yards up the field, timing the pitch perfectly. Nice try.

He can definitely help the offense, especially down the stretch against the tougher more physical SEC defenses. It's good to have him back on the team. Now the team can really focus on the task at hand firing on all cylinders.

a well run option is hard to defend, especially with the athletes we have. Talk about suck up practice time for opponents

More than just running plays. JJ is a big physical QB who can take and deliver a hit. He's strong in the pocket, can buy time, and turn a busted play into positive yardage.

I'm not quite sure what you're shaking your head at. What did I say that was wrong?

Saying that JJ can run the option like RP deserves a bigger

i know it's hard to believe that better coaching actually will make it better.

With JJ, the defense would sell out to the run with 8 men in the box and dared us to pass and we rarely could!

JJ ran the option on that play as well as you can run it. How many option plays do you see the pitch happen 10 yards down field? Do you think it is designed like that? Or do you think the pitches usually happen before getting to the line of scrimmage?

He can run the option as well as RP could. Can he do it consistently? No, he has never shown he can do it consistently.

I couldn't agree more. Lee offers a more efficient, well managed offence, which in my opinion is what LSU need's most of the game. It's a winning formula. However, Jefferson brings a mobility threat that Lee doesn't. JJ will be great to bring in when the offence goes stale!

Full of FAIL. Comparing RP and JJ is like Tom Brady to TC Mc.

Try again

I agree. But for every one of those plays, there's a play where he ran all the way to the sideline and pitched it to a RB standing out of bounds or so close to the sideline that he actually lost yardage.

Then he can't run it as well as RP could.

What is consistent is our offense so far this year. I don't want to frick that up.

In 4 football games that LSU has played this year.. which game would the above statement have mattered?
